Betsy B. Huey

Director

Betsy B. Huey serves as a director with Coxe Curry & Associates, returning to where she began her career after more than two decades of experience in fundraising and development. She brings to the firm a proven track record in donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship and enjoys fostering relationships between philanthropic individuals and outstanding Atlanta organizations.

Beginning as an assistant campaign manager in 1997, Betsy worked on the Woodruff Arts Center team at Coxe Curry before returning to her alma mater, Agnes Scott College. In the higher education sector, she specialized in major gifts and worked as Director of Leadership Giving at the college, raising funds from Agnes Scott’s top donors through two comprehensive campaigns—which, together, raised more than $186 million—and countless mini-campaigns.

She is honored to return to Coxe Curry & Associates, where she hopes to impact the greater Atlanta nonprofit community. Her current and recent clients include Christopher’s Haven, Fellowship Christian School, Grant Park Conservancy, Kate’s Club, Northside Youth Organization, Peachtree Church, Wellspring Living, YWCA of Greater Atlanta, and Zoo Atlanta.

A Georgia native, Betsy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Agnes Scott College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Intown Community School and on the Board of Women Alone Together. Betsy and her family are active members at Intown Community Church. Her husband Brian works for Creative Planning LLC, and they are the proud parents of James, Jack, and Kate.
