Betsy Huey
At Coxe Curry, Betsy directs campaign planning studies, capital campaigns, and annual fundraising campaigns. She originally joined the Coxe Curry team in 1997 and “boomeranged” back to us in 2021. After spending more than two decades in higher education fundraising and development, she now shares her donor solicitation and stewardship expertise with our clients.
Recently, she’s worked with the Benjamin Franklin Academy, Christopher’s Haven, Fellowship Christian School, Grant Park Conservancy, Northside Youth Organization, Peachtree Church, Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, Wellspring Living, YWCA of Greater Atlanta, and Zoo Atlanta.
In the community, Betsy is a past board member of Women Alone Together and is currently the board chair for Intown Community School. She and her family are active members of Intown Community Church.
Before returning to Coxe Curry in 2021, she was the director of leadership giving at her alma mater, Agnes Scott College. There, she raised funds from Agnes Scott’s top donors through two comprehensive campaigns—which, together, raised more than $186 million—and countless mini-campaigns.
A Georgia native, Betsy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Agnes Scott with a BA in psychology. Her husband Brian works for Creative Planning LLC, and they are the proud parents of James, Jack, and Kate.
