April Ledom
At Coxe Curry, April helps lead the strategic direction of the firm and is the director of talent management. She manages all human resource functions, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, employee relations, performance management, and professional development. April also uses her extensive HR background to assist our clients with development assessments, C-level hiring, and general HR strategy.
Recently, she’s worked with Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation, Camp Southern Ground, Christian City, The Forest School, Lutheran Services of Georgia, and Woodward Academy.
In the community, April is the board chair for Terra School at Serenbe and is a graduate of LEAD Atlanta. She is a former board member of Chattahoochee Hills Charter School, where she served as governance chair, and of the Anti-Prejudice Consortium, where she served as a Power Over Prejudice facilitator, empowering middle school students to embrace differences. She’s also held committee and volunteer roles with the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Atlanta Community Tool Bank, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Atlanta Urban Ministries, the Serenbe Institute for Art, Culture, and the Environment, Senior Connections, Visiting Nurse Health Systems of Atlanta, and Year-Up.
April’s career includes roles at iResearch, where she specialized in leadership development and organizational strategy, and a decade-long tenure at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, where she managed diverse HR functions and oversaw charitable giving. Beyond her corporate roles, April is a trusted advisor to startups and entrepreneurs and offers insights on leadership and culture.
A Georgia native, April graduated with a BS in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She and her husband, Matthew—who runs a fractional CTO business and is co-founder of SMB Advisors.ai—live in Chattahoochee Hills with their two children and two dogs.
