Interfaith Outreach Home
A Leap of (Inter)Faith
How does a nonprofit committed to bringing economic stability to Atlanta families create a secure future of its own? With faith, hope, and the help of our Coxe Curry team.
Interfaith Outreach Home (IOH) empowers hardworking families experiencing homelessness by connecting them to safe, affordable apartments and critical support services so they can achieve sustained self-sufficiency and stability.
In 2021, IOH retained us to conduct a campaign planning study and direct their comprehensive campaign—the first in the nonprofit’s 30-year history.
We developed an extraordinary relationship with IOH and were proud to serve as their trusted advisors. As part of our engagement, the Coxe Curry team helped find and recruit the campaign chair and elevate the board's role and responsibilities. We also connected IOH with potential funders, which led to enthusiastic responses and generous gifts.
The Hope Lives Here campaign served as a "coming out" party for the organization. After meeting and exceeding its $3.5 million goal, IOH secured ownership of its 3.6-acre Doraville property and started the first phase of a campus expansion and enhancements that will increase family occupancy by 50 percent.
