Kristyn Tumbleson
At Coxe Curry, Kristyn consults with clients on select communications projects. She specializes in crafting communications strategies and writing case statements, grant proposals, and campaign materials. Kristyn has a deep background in the nonprofit and education sectors—including strategic planning, corporate and foundation relations, and educational leadership experience—and is currently Associate Director of the PEAK Leadership Institute at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School.
Recently, she’s worked with Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, Extra Special People, Fellowship Christian School, Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School, Interfaith Outreach Home, redefinED Atlanta, the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, Wellspring Living, and Trees Atlanta.
In the community, she’s served on the Centennial Academy board of directors and was an active member of the Technology Association of Georgia Education Advisory Board and the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation’s Pipeline Project. She’s an alumna of GeorgiaForward’s Young Gamechangers program and the Klingenstein Summer Institute at Columbia University.
Before joining us, Kristyn was the director of education at Georgia Aquarium, where she focused on building community partnerships, fundraising for signature programming, and creating STEAM-centered experiences for K-12 students. As an educator, head of grade, and leadership team member at The Mount Vernon School, she helped implement new approaches to teaching and learning. Her career and passion for educational equity began in the blues city of Memphis, Tennessee as a Teach for America corps member.
Kristyn graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University with a BA in political science and French literature. Originally from New Hampshire, Kristyn and her husband Tom are proud residents of Roswell with their three young children.
