Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership
Helping Close the Housing Gap
The Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership (ANDP) develops, finances, and advocates for affordable housing at scale that promotes racial equity and healthy communities where families thrive. Since 1991, ANDP has supported the creation of more than 11,750 units of housing for people of low-to moderate-incomes.
In 2020, ANPD announced its Closing the Gap: 2K By 2025 campaign to develop or preserve 2,000 affordable apartment units and single-family homes by 2025. Though ANDP had strong relationships with the banking industry and with a few key philanthropic supporters who had contributed $6 million toward their $18 million goal, they sought our counsel to raise greater awareness of their mission in the philanthropic community.
With the support of our fundraising and communications experts, we brought structure, strategy, and experience to the project, supporting their staff on marketing their campaign in a bolder way to this audience. ANDP was better equipped to share their great story, their great track record, and the great resources that help them leverage philanthropic dollars by a 25:1 multiplier.
Many critical funders recognized the importance of swift action to address Atlanta’s affordable housing crisis and were returning or first-time investors in ANDP’s campaign.
When our client felt like they needed a seat at the table, we were proud to play a role in connecting the dots and helping them pull up a chair.
